The International Early Year Curriculum
The International Early Year Curriculum (IEYC) is a new research-based curriculum recognizing global best practices in early childhood education and the developmental needs of 2-5 Year olds. It supports key areas of learning through holistic enquiry and play-based approaches that cover all curriculum areas including personal, social and emotional development.
Cambodian Language and Culture Program
Available only for full-day students, beginning in Kindergarten, Khmer classes introduce students to the basics of Khmer language and culture. This includes the Khmer language, social studies, geography, history, mathematics and science. At grade 6 and grade 12, all full time students will take the Cambodian National Examination for their grade as required by the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (MOEYS).
The International Primary Curriculum
The IPC is one of the fastest growing curriculums in the world today. It is a philosophy, process and pedagogy that allows a broader and more rigorous learning experience for young learners. Each unit is designed around one purpose: improving children’s learning. World-class writers have created a range of units designed to nurture children’s personal qualities and develop international mindedness, and at the heart of these units are the IPC learning goals.
International Students Program
For our students who are not Cambodian do not need to attend the Cambodian Curriculum classes as described above. Instead a specialize program has been designed to fill this time with a variety of additional classes includes extra classes for Chinese language for beginners, Cambodian language for beginners. Arts and Crafts, Music theory and practice, mathematics, library, PE and swimming. In addition, each day begins with a special “Students Teaching Students” time, where the multi-national class teaches each other about their own culture, country, history, language etc.
