International Students Program

For our students who are not Cambodian do not need to attend the Cambodian Curriculum classes as described above. Instead a specialize program has been designed to fill this time with a variety of additional classes includes extra classes for:
Chinese language for beginners, Cambodian language for beginners. Arts and Crafts, Music theory and practice, mathematics, library, PE and swimming. In addition, each day begins with a special “Students Teaching Students” time, where the multi-national class teaches each other about their own culture, country, history, language etc.
Chinese language for beginners
In view of China’s economic rise, the use of the Chinese language has become more diffused and important. Mastering Chinese is beneficial to the students’ future development. Language learning not only helps them to open up their horizon and cultivate their respect and tolerance for another culture, it also helps them to have a curious and explorative mind, preparing them to become a member of the global village with an international perspective.
Art and Crafts
All full-time students at APIS take art classes twice a week. Early Years students learn how to work with scissors, glue, paint, markers and more to create interesting projects. Our Primary students tackle more creative projects and learn about different artists and techniques while creating masterpieces of their own.
PE and Swimming
Our younger learners focus on developing their gross motor skills through balance activities, exercises, and games. Our older students learn the rules and techniques of various sports while building their strength and endurance.
